Day 1:
Leaving Cusco early in the morning in our specially equipped vehicles for the route. Interesting cross inter-Andean valleys and picturesque rural communities by visiting the Pre-Inca Tombs "Chullpas of Ninamarca. A half day pass Paucartambo typical colonial town of great importance at that time and still maintains its colonial style. Continuing the journey to ascend the mountain of Acjanacu to 3850 meters. From here we began the descent through the Cloud Forest, an area rich in endemic species as the spectacled bear, cock of the rock, orchids, bromeliads, ferns, etc.. and others where we spend our first night comfortably installed in our platform in the open, "San Pedro".
Day 2:
Very early we will appreciate the interesting courtship dance of the Cock of the Rock, Peru's National Bird, who holds a striking plumage of red-orange intense, comfortably installed on an observation platform called "Lek." After breakfast we continue in our bus, crossing the high jungle, arriving at the town of Pilcopata * and then continue to the port of Atalaya (700 m. Asl), located on the shores of the Alto Madre de Dios River, where we expect our boat with outboard motor, board the vessel is loaded with the necessary equipment for the journey, thus beginning our descent down the river where we can see the great diversity of existing birds, like herons, vultures, cormorants, etc.. To reach our private reserve "Erika" where we spend the next 2 nights. Short walk around the area.

* Optional: From the town of Pilcopata travel approx. 3 hours of rafting (Class II and III) by the rivers of tropical Kosñipata and Alto Madre de Dios, passing the spectacular Koñeq where to put stop to enjoy the scenery and a swim in its crystalline waters. Will continue until our private reserve "Erika."
Day 3:
Erika is in transition zone between Selva Selva Alta and Baja (600m. Snm - 1550 meters. Snm), different altitudes give rise to different habitats, thereby explaining the high diversity of wildlife around. Immediately after breakfast start trekking for interesting trails where the guide will speak about mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, plants, etc.. and in the afternoon to visit a small lake to observe alligators, Hoatzin (prehistoric bird), etc.. Walking at night and last night in this wonderful Amazon jungle.
* Optional: New!
